BBC&CBC X MPWR: Finding Alaa

In her directorial debut for the BBC and CBC, in association with mpwr productions, Myriam Francois directs this moving story, set for release on the BBC and CBC in May 2023.

The Film has already received several nominations including “Best documentary” at Cannes Shorts, is part of the Independent Short Festival ‘official selection’ 2023 and was selected at Cannes Mipdoc 2022. It will have its world premiere at Toronto Hot Docs on May 2nd 2023, where it has been selected for “Best Short documentary” and a “Sneak Peak” premiere at the Nobel Peace Center in Oslo, Norway on March 30th, 2023.
